Old South worships for first time at Boylston St. since April 15th

On Thursday, April 25, 2013, Old South Church in Boston, “the Church of the Finish Line,” worshiped for the first time at our Boylston Street home since the events of April 15th.

Jazz Worship was held outdoors - 100 feet from the Finish Line. Our sisters and brothers, shoulder to shoulder, gathered to mourn the lost, comfort the grieving, and look toward the days to come. The Willie Sordillo Trio filled the evening air with healing music for the grief we bear as well as joy for the endurance of the human spirit. Rev. Jim Antal, President and Minister of the MAUCC, offered a message of hope in his sermon, "Goodness, Solidarity and Altruism – Unmistakable Testimony."
